Yemen is currently in the midst of one of the worst humanitarian disasters in recent history. Its people are in desperate need of clean water, food, clothing and essential medical aid after fleeing their homes to avoid getting caught up in the violent conflict.

Together we (Malaika, Ayaan and Zeeshan) have pledged to make a difference by fundraising to help those families and young children in need. We are reaching out to you and asking for donations to help vulnerable Yemeni civilians get to safety and restore access to much-needed supplies.

The Yemen Crisis Appeal is set up to help the people caught up in the conflict - the families and children whose lives have been changed forever. HRF teams on the ground in Yemen are doing their best to help as many of those in need as possible, but the number of families affected by the crisis rises every single day.

HRF’s work is currently focusing on:

• Providing emergency food and water to affected residents
• Treating and preventing the spread of cholera
• Providing essential medical care and assistance
• Supporting internally displaced people
• Carrying out micro-reconstruction projects.

The £600 we are trying to raise will go towards those in the most need towards:

• Providing essential food packs to feed an entire family 
• Giving medical support to someone at risk
• Providing important hygiene items to a family in need.

Every single contribution you make helps and every last penny goes towards supporting and providing aid for Yemeni people who have been affected by the crisis.
