Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Saturday 31st October 2020, we (Fariha, Maria and Sukaina - the Making Miracles team) will be taking part in a socially-distanced 5-mile walk to raise funds to provide bread to the starving orphans and widows in Yemen.

The situation in Yemen is the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. After 6 long years of brutal conflict, during which families were wiped out by famine, cholera, and war, Yemenis are now bracing for a harsh winter.

Yemeni children will struggle to survive to the end of the year. The UN says that 2.4 million Yemeni children are on the brink of starvation.

The healthcare system has completely collapsed, overwhelmed with cases of covid19 and other diseases. Coronavirus is killing one in five people and half the country is at risk of infection.

PLEASE DONATE WHATEVER YOU CAN ❤ THANK YOU ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF YEMEN.
