The secret ingredient is love! Remembering Muriel McNab

Fundraising for The Kirkwood (Kirkwood Hospice)
My name is Maisy, I am 13 years old. On the 28th November I am having my hair cut to raise money for Kirkwood Hospice. They supported our family when my grans twin sister Muriel McNab passed away 2 years ago.
Muriel was a Mother, Sister, Grandma, Auntie and Friend to many. We remember the Robin cake she lovingly made with her grandchildren, sprinkling the cake with the secret ingredient of love, which would be served up with a cup of tea for us.
As well as raising money for Kirkwood Hospice I am also donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust who donate hair to make wigs for children who have cancer.
Thank you in advance for your kind and generous donations.
Thank you to Faye Hunter at Edward & Co hairdressers in Brighouse for looking after me.
Within the next decade, someone we know will be diagnosed with a life limiting illness that they won't get better from.A parent, grandparent, partner, sibling, son or daughter. A friend colleague or neighbour. At some point in the future, and with increasing regularity we all have to face up to this painful reality. At Kirkwood, we don;t think anyone should have to face this alone. We are here to support anyone affected by a life limiting illness, every step of the way.
