Playtime is a family outreach ministry consisting of multiple projects.  We provide a range of mid week groups, have links with several charities and work with other professionals such as Midwives, Support Workers and Social Workers.  Our aim is to reach families throughout Sheffield by offering a place of support, community and advice.  Other projects also include practical support through our Clothes Bank and growing links with our local Food Bank.  We currently work with up to 80 families a week throughout the different projects; some are parents who just need a fun safe place to bring their kids while they have a cup of fresh coffee, some are families living on the bread line in need of a lot of support.  We really want to continue what we're doing with parents and children in Sheffield but as the groups are growing and demand for different projects is increasing, we need to raise some money!  If we can raise £700 that will pay for the mid week groups for 1 year; this would then release us to develop other projects! 

In order to raise that £700 I'm doing a 10km 'Wolf Run'... That is 10km of running through bogs, clambering over obstacles, wading through lakes and crawling through brambles!  (Find out more at http://www.thewolfrun.com/info).
