Thank you for visiting Maisie's Donkey Sanctuary donation page. It all started when Maisie randomly chose to read Dr Elisabeth Svendsen's biography from the library. She was moved by the stories of the poor donkeys and started to help out in her own way. Anyone on her Christmas card list would have received a donkey sanctuary card.

We managed a few visits over the years. She loved mingling with the elderly donkeys in the barns. A particular favourite was Cabbage, who favoured old ladies that looked like its previous owner, and apparently Maisie fitted the bill.

In tribute, we have set up this donation page. Donations go straight to the Donkey Sanctuary. Tax payers can also tick the Gift Aid box and have the tax donated at no extra cost.
