Story
Humans are vulnerable alone, but can achieve great things when we come together.
MSF is a British charity which helps deliver urgent medical care to people in conflicts around the world. This includes helping victims of the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. Having spent our Summer holiday in southern Turkey last year, we were heartbroken to see the sudden devastation to such a beautiful place and people.
We want to stand in solidarity with those in need by cycling across the UK, from Whitehaven on the West coast to Tynemouth on the East coast. A journey that is approximately 150 miles (241km) in just over 2 days.
We ask that you stand with us and vulnerable communities around the world by donating generously to our cause for MSF. Our aim is to raise £3000.
£9 could help provide pain relief for seven patients for one day
£21 could pay for masks to resuscitate three newborn babies
£49 could pay for a blood transfusion kit for use in a surgery
£98 could help pay for six sets of surgical scrubs tunic, trousers and sterile reusable gloves
£153 can pay for a kit of emergency supplies to dress 50 wounds
£228 covers the cost of an MSF doctor working in a hospital for three days
Lets unite and save lives of those in urgent need. Please donate generously!
