Most people who know me will know that I've nearly always had long brown hair. I'm just about to reach half a century and to celebrate I had an idea to have a shock haircut .... the idea has taken on its own lifeforce and I have now decided to become '80's Madonna. Hopefully I will be a 'Material Girl' and raise loads of money for Parkinson's UK. Parkinsons is a debilitating disease that has had a big impact on my family and whilst medication can help to manage symptoms, there is no cure. According to Parkinsons UK it now affects 1 in 500 people.
