Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - please sponsor my novel-writing attempt to raise money for Friends of the Earth
Inspired by National Novel Writing Month, I've begun to write a novel. Very loosely inspired by my own university experiences, this as yet untitled magnum opus is a delicate cocktail of Douglas Coupland, Umberto Eco, HP Lovecraft and a delayed allergic reaction to lots of bad fantasy and science fiction.
What I need is guilt-tripping into writing another 40,000 words of first draft between now and 2010. So please pledge your support and in exchange I will allow any of you sight of the second draft (the first draft will be an unspeakable horror) and try to provide regular updates via my blog at http://magpiemoth.livejournal.com/.
And in doing so you'll be helping Friends of the Earth continue to fight the good fight against climate change and for a safe future for our children's generation.
So, please dig deep and donate now. Thanks loads!
Now here comes the science bit.
