The inaugural Farndon Soapbox Derby is taking place on Sunday 18th September 2022 with the aim of creating some positive community spirit, having lots of fun and laughter and creating that sense of ‘togetherness and giving back to the community, after everyone has been impacted by Covid.

EssentialsMAG will be racing! Our 13 year old team member (my son, Morgan) will be in the driving seat. Our mini racing EssentialsMAG van is currently being built, complete with flashing headlights and a horn!

But, on a serious note...
It's all for charity. 90% of the money raised from the event will go straight to fund the fantastic work done in the local community by the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. The Hospice of the Good Shepherd operates in the local community for our local community. 

The remaining 10% of the net profits will be given back into the communities of Farndon and Holt to be re-invested in local worthy initiatives.
