The Magnificent Mileathon will take place on May 6th at Riverside Park, Macclesfield. We aim to run as many miles as possible from 7am till 7pm and everyone who runs one of the routes will add their miles to the grand total.

We have two routes, the 1.2 mile route is perfect for beginner and kids and the big 7.8 mile route for those wanting a bigger challenge. Some people are going to push themselves even further by running several laps throughout the day.

We hope to raise lots of money for the Lily Foundation in memory of Ted French. Ted was born with a genetic disorder called mitochondrial disease, this disease causes cells to have no energy, which makes the tissues or body organs not to work properly. Ted sadly lost his battle with the disease when he was just five and a half months old and we hope that we can make him proud by fundraising in his memory. The Lily Foundation is an amazing charity that aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.
