Story
Our 7-year old daughter has been learning magic for a couple of years, and had her sights set on entering the school talent show here in Bucharest. As that isn't possible in the current situation, she's been inspired by seeing online theatre to do a live show herself on YouTube. She's hoping people who watch will make a donation to the Light Into Europe charity who work with deaf, blind and partially sighted people in Romania. They are a charity she has raised money for in the past, and they need funding to continue to cover even their basic costs during the lockdown period.
Both our children have been working incredibly hard to put the performance together - at least two full rehearsals a day for the past week - and there's some legitimately impressive magic in the show.
It will be a 15-minute live show at 2pm Romania time (12pm UK) on Sunday 19th April and it would be great if you (or your kids) want to tune in.

We'll keep the video online for a bit after that as well, in case you can't make the live broadcast but still want to see a few cool illusions and close-up-magic. If you enjoy the show, please donate on this Just Giving page!

COVID-19 has brought unprecedented times, people not travelling, working from home, pressures on our health service. Despite this, Light into Europe needs to continue working hard to support Blind and Deaf people to live independent lives.During this period, our Guide Dogs still need food, continue to visit the vets and our accessible education team are working to produce adapted versions of books that can be accessible to visually impaired young people to read while at home.Unfortunately, without our regular fundraising events and with businesses less able to support, we turn to you, our supporters and lovers of Guide Dogs to give us a helping hand to get through this difficult period. Our aim is to raise enough to cover 3 months costs. Anything you can contribute to this is greatly appreciated.
