Story
Another year and another Moonlit Memories Walk!🚶♀️👟
As you know I have been a Rowans Hospice Supporter for many years and now I have experienced their services first hand.
This year I am walking 6 miles as part of a family team 'Bee Positives for Rose' 😘🐝💕 Mum was always saying her motto was to 'Be Positive' and this was never more true than when she was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer in August 2021 and throughout her Chemotherapy and treatment and up to her final few days.
Rowans Hospice was an integral part of her support and after Mum was in hospital she was very fortunate to be transferred straight away to The Rowans on 21st April 2022 where she received exceptional care from the amazing staff and volunteers until her death on 3rd May 2022. Throughout this time I know these last days were made better by the wonderful hospice.
And vital funds are needed so that other people can continue to experience the same warmth and fantastic care that was offered to my Mum and to us in extended services and so the Rowans can continue to offer all their services.
This year's walk will be taking place a couple of weeks following the 1st anniversary of Mum's passing so is a special memorial walk for myself and the family
Please help in any way that you can as every penny really does count, especially in these times when everyone is having to dig deep! It means a lot ❤
THANK YOU SO MUCH!🌟
