The year 1968 was of seismic social & political change in the world. It just happened to be the year that a justice seeker, I, was born. 

January - Prague, Czechoslovakia: “Prague Spring” 

February - Saigon, Vietnam: USS Pueblo captured, war begins

March - Memphis, TN: The "I AM A Man" march is met with resistance

April - Memphis Tennessee: Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr is assassinated

April - All Over the World: Students Protest the Vietnam War

May - Birmingham, England: Enoch Powell delivers "Rivers
of Blood
" speech

May - Paris, France: Students Riot & Protest “Adieu, De Gaulle”

June - Los Angeles, CA: Senator Robert Kennedy is assassinated

July, -Nigeria: Photographs are released of starving Biafran children

July - McLean, VA: The power of love, Peter Edelman marries Marian Wright

August - Prague, Czechoslovakia: Russian Invasion

September - Ferdows, Persia: Earthquake takes over 2000 lives

September - Detroit, MI: The Supremes release "Love Child"

October - Mexico City, Mexico:  Olympics Protest - Black Power Salute

October - Charlotte, NC: A justice seeker, Keith Magee, is born

November - Washington, DC: Nixon wins The White House

December - Space: Apollo 8 Orbits the Moon
