Maggies on the Runway is a fundraising event to raise money for Maggies, a charity providing free cancer support and information centres across the UK and online.

On September the 8th Firefighters from Manchester Airport will take on there biggest challenge to date to support Maggies Manchester and with a big challenge comes a big target!! 

They will take on the 9 mile trek to the top of Mount Snowdon 3 times in 24 hours wearing full fire kit, carrying  breathing apparatus sets on there backs weighing approximately 20 kg. 

They aim to take 3 different routes up and down which will start at 10am and it will take them through the night to finish the next morning.

Maggies is a non profit organisation and offers the best possible support free to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through there doors.
