Story
On New Year’s Eve in 2012 at the age of 94 my nana suffered a stroke, we were lucky that it was caught early, she was able to get life saving help. Thanks to advances in stroke research she was able to make a full recovery and we was privileged enough to spend another 7 years with her, making the best memories and she was able to meet my little boy.
In 2020 at the age of 43 my cousin suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and subsequently a stroke, our Steve’s life may have changed forever but without the life saving research that stroke association do he wouldn’t be here today. Steve like so many others who have suffered strokes have a long road to recovery but people like the stroke association are here to help not just him but the families and friends also affected.
I want to raise £2000 by running the London marathon and help the stroke association keep funding vital research and the support services they offer
Thank you for all your support
Lots of love
