We make lifesaving connections to help more patients survive and thrive

Story

MADi Fundraising has been set up by Gareth Mobley, Dan Gill and Leon Day to appeal to a wide audience in the glazing industry. The team promise a wide range of events, with 100% of the funds raised going to children’s charities, this year being the Anthony Nolan Trust.

Madi Fundraising – making a difference

The team will began their fundraising activities with a Sponsored Casino at the FIT Show Gala Dinner in 2014 where we raised over £10,000, with the first big event, the inaugural MADi Ball Rally to Café de Paris in Monaco in 2015, all in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust.

In October 2013, Dan’s daughter, Maddie was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anaemia. Basically, this meant that her bone marrow had completely failed and wasn’t producing any cells. This is a very rare condition categorised as affecting less than 1 in a million children.

The consultant had only ever seen 2 patients before and it is a life threatening illness. Thankfully Maddie is slowly getting better but it has been a long an incredibly demanding journey for all.
