Story
Hello, my name is Mark, thank you for your time. I am a passionate Luton town supporter of 40 years and enthusiastic cyclist, I have completed my challenge of cycling to all 26 Luton Town away games in the 21/22 season cycling 2,970 miles with elevation of 127,000 feet that is equivalent to climbing Mount Everest 4 times!!! thank you to everyone, your support, encouragement and generosity it really means a lot to me and the charities
I have raised an unbelievable £13,893 for the 3 worthwhile and deserving charities that are personal to me and do incredible work which are Keech Hospice, CALM & Prostate Cancer UK.
KEECH HOSPICE CARE offer specialist care to adults & children in Beds, Herts & MK who have life limiting and terminal illnesses and need to raise £6M a year to provide care services.
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM run a free and confidential helpline and webchat 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about lifes problems.
PROSTATE CANCER (UK) is most common cancer in men, 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed and every 45 minutes one man dies of prostate cancer. Donations will help fund research into preventing, treating and diagnosing prostate cancer.
I would really appreciate your support to help raise awareness for these amazing charities and to help to reach my target, it will be much appreciated.
Thank you. Mark
