During my time at Leap, I have been lucky enough to work closely with some of the young people the charity supports. I have seen first hand how important Leap's programmes are in equipping young people with the skills to navigate conflict and ultimately helping them to achieve their potential.
The pandemic has had a devastating impact on so many young people's lives, including their mental health, educational attainment and access to opportunities and support. Leap's work is needed now more than ever.
Leap's purpose is to give young people the skills to manage conflict in their lives. We do this by supporting young people in the care system, in the community, excluded from school and in our criminal justice system.
I am running my first half marathon on Sunday 10 October, and am aiming to raise £400 to support Leap's vital work. I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me reach that target.
Thank you!
