Fundraising for Friends of Amani (UK)
Story
Hello and thanks so much for visiting my fundraising page for the Brighton marathon.
I met the beautiful children at the Amani Home following our Kilimanjaro climb in 2006 and now want to raise as much as possible to support them. The children are from age 3 to 16 and are rescued from the streets by Amani when they are abandoned if their parents can't afford to look after them, or when their parents die from HIV AIDS. Given their circumstances, the children are utterly delightful and so brave, determined and hungry to learn to improve their lives.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
