Story
We're walking the walk as well as talking the talk - dusting off the old walking boots in aid of this brilliant cause.
Those of you who know us well know that we love being out in the countryside and are keen on a good walk but this is a little further than we normally go... Maddy will be relying on her old-lady hips and knees to keep up with mountain goat Christian up and down the hills of the Jurassic Coast in aid of Level Trust.
We'll be spurred on by your support and by the knowledge that 1 in 3 children in Luton live in poverty - that's over 16,000 children.
Imagine trying to concentrate on lessons when you're freezing cold from walking to school with no coat on, or your feet are sore from wearing shoes that are too small. It's scary spending all day worrying that you'll be in trouble for wearing the wrong uniform or not having done your homework because you don't have learning resources at home. Thousands of children deal with these things everyday, which means they really lose out at school, academically and socially.
Happily, working for Level Trust means we get to see first-hand the huge difference our work makes. We give children the things they need so that they can go to school feeling happier, more confident and more included, which adds up to a much brighter future. It's amazing how much joy such simple things can bring to children and their families.
Your sponsorship will mean we can help even more children - and we would be very grateful for any contribution you can make. THANK YOU!
