Every day, 130 billion animals suffer in factory farms across the world. These sentient beings are reduced to commodities on a production line, existing in cramped, unhygienic conditions and experiencing horrible health issues - all because they are being raised for our consumption. 

The Humane League UK exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food. The charity works tirelessly to secure commitments from big corporations that meaningfully improve the lives of animals in their supply chains. THL also advocates for a plant-based lifestyle, something I am fully on board with!

Throughout October, I will be running 130km to raise money for the 130 billion. This equates to 4.2km a day, which is about the maximum distance I can currently run in one stretch...and currently do once a week... it's going to be a challenge but it's worth it to support this vital work!
