Endometriosis has definitely affected and changed my life completely. I have suffered for 16 years. 16 years of excruciating pain and a lot of other symptoms and all I heard was that it was all in my head and that the pain was normal. 

With the help of support groups I managed to find out about this debilitating condition and for the first time in many years, I had hope. I wasn't the weird one anymore, there were a lot of other women like me, there were other women who understood me. 

I kept trying to convince the doctors that more tests were required but the interest was 0. So I took the matter in my own hands. I went privately to see an endo specialist for an MRI. It was no surprise to find out that endometriosis spread out everywhere. Even so, I still didn't find any support in my GP. But now I know where my path leads and I will keep fighting because I am an endo warrior.
