Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK do vital work in funding pioneering research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions.

Like many I was unaware that Muscular Dystrophy is a life changing disease that can show itself more and more throughout someones life. I am raising awareness that this condition can completely change someones way of living as the years progress. I feel in society this isn't spoken about enough and I hope to raise awareness to more people along my journey. My incredible mum is a palliative carer and I hear about the work she does for families suffering muscular dystrophy and how hard this condition hits home for many people.
