Andy Perry is raising money for Doorway
Story
Myself and some of the MAC team will be completing the Llanberis Path hike up Snowdon mountain on the 25th September. Our goal is to raise £200 for an incredible charity, Doorway.
The last year or so has been difficult, and many of us have struggled with a range of personal issues or know someone who has, and we can understand why a charity like this is so important at a time like now.
The reason I have chosen Doorway is because it’s a local charity based in Warwickshire that provides crucial help and support to our younger generation who are currently struggling with different social disadvantages, this includes homelessness, poverty, poor housing and lack of education (which have increased tenfold since the pandemic). They also aim to help people with mental health issues and to improve their quality of life.
