In September 2024, I'm joining some colleagues on the MacMillan Mighty Hike along the Northumberland coast. 26 miles, or 42 kilometres for those of us stuck in metric.

The pledge is to raise £250. I'd appreciate any help that you can give me along the way. This amount could pay for a MacMillan Support Worker for two days, providing emotional, practical and financial advice for someone affected by cancer.

I'm a keen walker already, though I intend to embark on a few training walks before the big day. I'm sure I will find somewhere to share a few photos, so keep an eye on my socials! Finding a way to occasionally turn my love of the outdoors into something genuinely good, helpful and useful has been high my my to-do list for a long time, and I'm hopeful that this will start that journey.
