I’m setting out on a further challenge this year to raise money and awareness for this amazing charity which touches the lives of so many of us. Macmillan Jersey provides care and support to people not only suffering with cancer but for loved ones coming to terms or caring for someone with cancer.  Everyone single one of us is statistically likely to be impacted in some way, shape or form due to this disease and I urge you please to dig deep to help me raise funds to support this local charity.

Towards the end of September this year a group of around 50 cyclists will head to Italy to embark on a journey setting off from Bologna and cycling approx.540 kilometers to reach our final destination, Rome. The ride will take us though some challenging terrine with plenty of climbing, spectacular scenery, not to mention all the pasta we'll no doubt enjoy along the way to keep up the carbs! 

This time I'm dedicating my ride to my mum who suffered from cancer and has since received  care and support and has met so many wonderful people within the Macmillan Jersey team.
