Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We've been decorating our house with Christmas lights for some years now and have collected £24546.50 so far for the Macmillan Ward at Derby Royal Hospital - my brother, Darren Wragg, passed away at Christmas 2017 after a long battle with prostate cancer. The care & love shown to him by the nurses there was incredible. My husband Martyn & I wanted to give something back to them so our lights display has grown and grown and will carry on doing so hopefully in the future.
100% of all donations go to the charity as we pay all the costs of erecting the display and the electricity bill for running them.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
The total shown as being donated is the running total given to Just Giving since 2021.
Last year the money we raised including cash donations was £8275.00
Thank you
