Story

TEAM MACMAD: Charles MacKay, Lesley MacKay-Howse, Angus Bantock, Alex MacKay-Howse, Barnaby MacKay-Howse, Richard Grimshaw, Trevor Naylor

On June 7th 2025, the team have challenged themselves to take on the South Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. This marathon one day hike (26.2 miles) goes from Brighton to Beachy Head via the chalk downs of the Seven Sisters.

We’d love your help in reaching our minimum target of £2,250 which will pay for 9 days of support from a Macmillan Nurse. Macmillan Nurses offer people living with cancer and their families essential medical, emotional and practical support. We all have personal experience of their amazing support for people we have lost to cancer, including family members.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK and it is Macmillan’s goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis. To do this, they need support from people like you.

Thank you for your support!
