I sadly lost my youngest child Mabel, in July 2021. She was 6 months old. . There are no words for how painful losing your child is, living without them is soul destroying, every single day you have to be with them. Myself & Adam are understandably struggling a lot without our beautiful Mabel. Having suffered such a huge loss, we were offered no bereavement support from anywhere and this simply is not good enough for bereaved families. Our health visitor, got in touch with the bereavement staff at a local hospital, and they referred us to Reuben’s Retreat. 

Reuben’s retreat were just lovely from the moment that we spoke to them, and even more lovely when we went for a face to face meeting. They sent books out, to read to my other children, to try and help them through their grief. I have started therapy with Reuben’s Retreat, if I was to wait to have this therapy on the NHS I would be on a very long waiting list and left with no support. 

I have planned a fundraising & funday in one, in memory of my sweet strawberry girl - Mabel Elsa Jones. All proceeds made will be going to Reuben’s Retreat & The Harvey Hext Trust🧡
