Fundraising for PROSTATE CANCER UK
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am currently fundraising in memory of my uncle who sadly passed away last year after suffering with Prostate Cancer for over a year. The Prostate Cancer Charity is UK’s leading voluntary organisation founded in 1996 in response to the urgent need to increase investment in prostate cancer research and to raise public and political awareness of a disease that affects thousands. This charity aims to provide support, information to help sufferers and their families as well as funding research and raising awareness. I have an overall fundraising target of £400 and have been informed that all funds donated to my Justgiving page will go direct to The Prostate Cancer Charity. Not long to go now and my training so far has been running/jogging at least three times a week for at least a month now. I’m also stepping it up for the next couple of weeks despite several trips to the physio and a biomechanist, who all tell me my body’s not made for running!!! However, I’ve not been deterred - in fact, I’m even more determined to make my way round the course running!! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!!
