For Maahi's first Lohri rather than gifts we are inviting donations from anyone who would like to do so. Maahi is lucky; she has a large loving family and has and will have everything she ever wants or needs. There are children in the world who are less fortunate and are suffering just because of the Country in which they are born. We cannot quickly make things equal for all children, but we can try to remove some of the obstacles that have been imposed upon them.
The temperatures are plummeting and with the number of internally displaced people within Syria, children are spending cold nights without sufficient means of keeping warm. We would like to donate some money towards ensuring that these children have what they need to keep to cold at bay.
Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. Today, children in places like Syria are caught up in violent conflict, with millions forced to flee their homes. In 2015, Unicef responded to 310 emergencies in 102 countries. Please donate what ever you can to my fundraiser for Unicef UK. With your help, we can build a safer world for children.
Thank you for your donations; together we can make a difference.
