Story
I first visited the Heart of Kent Hospice a couple of months ago and was immediately taken back by how small it was and absolutely astounded at the amount of money they need to raise each year just to survive.
They require £3.8 million pounds, with only £800,000 coming from the local authority the balance they rely on volunteers, supporters, sponsorship & gifting will. It puts my measly £5,000 into context really, but as they say, every little helps!
I'm taking part in 9 mad events including:
Dirty Dozen, Tough Mudder, East Grinstead Triathalon, Cyclo Sportive 100km, Brands Hatch 10km, British 10km, London - Brighton Bike Ride, 666 run and Tough Mudder no. 2
I must be mad! But it's for a fantastic cause!
