Following an employee vote, m-hance has selected Ukraine Charity as our 2022 Charity of the Year, as such all funds raised by our team this year will be donated to their cause.

1. Our first charity event of the year was a virtual walk of the UK and Irish Coastlines. Starting in Dublin we headed North towards Dundalk and Belfast, continuing around the Coast until we ended up back where we started. We then had the Irish Sea to tackle with one of our employees (with some help) virtually swimming the distance from Dublin to Holyhead in North Wales. On reaching North Wales, we followed the Welsh coastline east, then headed towards Liverpool and continued North and clockwise around the UK. The total distance covered was 8,467km. The challenge ran from the 1st April 2022 to 31st May 2022 but our team absolutely smashed this target and finished a few days early.

*As part of an individual step challenge, one of our fantastic credit controllers Francesca took part in the Yorkshire Three Peak challenge on the 28th May. This saw Francesca take on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours accompanied by others from her local gym class.

2. Our second fundraising initiative was our Halloween Trick or Trivia company quiz. Hosted by our favourite quiz master Curtis, some tricky questions were asked during an afternoon of Halloween fun. Quizzers had to donate £2 to join in which went towards our total for Ukraine Charity.

3. m-hance has recently engaged with Best Companies as an anonymous way to ask employees how they feel about working for the organisation. The first survey has been sent out and for every survey response, m-hance will donate £2 to Ukraine Charity.

4. We will be hosting our very own Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 9th December. Anyone taking part will be encouraged to make a donation to Ukraine Charity. We look forward to seeing all of the festive jumpers! Photos will be shared on the m-hance Instagram page.
