Story

Birungi lives in a remote part of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Because she was a girl she never went to school and felt worthless. But everything changed for her when she learned to sew and run a business.

I’m running for Tearfund so that many more people like Birungi can have their hope and value restored. Please sponsor me to help end extreme poverty.

Together, we can change the world for women like Birungi. Read more of her story at www.tearfund.org/wewontstop

My training hasn't really taken off yet as I am carrying a longstanding injury. I'll be seeing a specialist on 28 June. Prayers of support would be very welcome. Slowly walking around a half marathon course isn't a enticing prospect.
