'I Am Somebody' is what happens to the street children when they join one of the football teams going to the Street Child World Cup. It is an accident of birth, where and how we live - those children who live on the streets don't get many breaks - this is a great way of allowing them to belong to something, of getting them a passport, being recognised by their country and, indeed, becoming a full member of society. And then going home after Rio and paying it forward. How fantastic is that? 

Whilst selecting the team to represent the different countries, SCWC works with local charities and agencies to find solutions to improve the lives of all homeless children in that country. It also operates at government level to encourage homelessness to be a raised and addressed issue.
