WE DID IT!!!!  It took us 5 hours, 10 mins and 27 secs!!!  All we could hope for in the blistering heat!!!!  It was a great experience, but we were so glad when we saw the finishing line.  All the kind donations kept us going. We never thought it would be possible for us to have raised so much.  Thank you very much!!!!! 

I am running in my 1st full marathon on 31st May 2009 in Edinburgh.  I am running with Margaret Ann Williamson and we have pledged to raise £750 each for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A big thank you to all who attended the disco.  We had a great night!  We raised £1700, which exceeded all our expectations.  Thanks go to all the people and companies who donated raffle and auction prizes.  We are getting on well with our training.  We're now up to 18 miles.  Just another 8 to go!  The amount raised will certainly keep us motivated.  The blisters will be worth it.  Thanks again.
