Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Just to clarify, last November, 2 weeks before my 44th Birthday I had a mid life crisis and decided to do a triathlon.

I weighed 16 1/2 stone and hadn't done ANY exercise for 20 years+.

I won't pretend it's been easy - initially I couldn't run the short sides of a football pitch but with help and support, especially from Iain and Carolyn at the Coaching Station I've hammered the treadmill and the bike over the winter months and now that Spring is here I'm out on the open roads.

This was a truly life changing decision for me and I'm having a ball. You can read all about my "experiences" at  http://journals.aol.co.uk/lynneevans19/from-slob-to-super-fit-triathlet/

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hope House Children's Hospices will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support donatiing online.

At the risk of missing someone important out I would like to thank the offline donators:-
