Christine and Lynne are doing a 100 mile cycle ride to raise money for the James Burns Wish to Walk Appeal, if you would like to be part of our team please let us know. 

James is an exceptional 14yr old with Cerebral Palsy who has the opportunity to go to America for a life changing operation which will enable him to walk, kick a ball and do things normal 14yr olds enjoy.

James has the money for the operation but needs funds for after the operation. He will need physiotherapy and will need specialised equipment to aid his recovery for several years.

We wanted a challenge that would push us.

The challenge is a Cycle ride of 100 miles.

Our route will start on 14 June 2015 at Whitehaven Harbour,

Cycling outward to Bowness-on-Solway then finish back at Whitehaven Harbour.
