Story
We are talking part in the 10K Star Trekk Walk on Friday 6th May to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice in memory of Trev.
Trev passed away in January after a long battle with prostate & bone cancer, during his illness and especially the last few months Queenscourt looked after him and my Mum Chris. Trev spoke very highly about the care and support they received at the hospice and when he came home. They do amazing work and look after not only their patients but their families as well.
The last two years have been challenging for us all during the pandemic and for Queenscourt, the effects of Coronavirus have meant that they had to cancel many in-person fundraising events. Every single penny really does count, and by supporting Star Trekk, one of the key fundraising events, you will be helping Queenscourt to continue providing exceptional palliative care for local people across West Lancashire, Formby and Southport, when they need it most. For example, £30 of sponsorship could help provide over an hour of essential nursing care for patients. In the last year alone, they have supported nearly 2000 patients, and in order to continue providing compassionate care, Queenscourt needs your help more than ever. Thank You
