Story

In June 2020, with the whole world in the grip of COVID 19, the prospect of Dad needing hospital care when he was so poorly, at a time when hospital visiting was not possible was just terrifying.

The wonderful Hospital at Home team from St Michael’s Hospice were our angels.  They helped us care for Dad as a family, in his home.  We all moved back home and on the night my Dad passed, he had his loving wife at his side and all his girls back in their childhood beds.  He world as he liked it best.  We simply could not have done that without St Michael’s Hospice.

So it’s time to give a little back and this year I will be doing the Venus Night Walk to raise funds that may help another family in the same way.

I’ll be doing the 10k version and my fantastic work colleagues Helen and Naomi will be joining me too.

Please give just a few quid in memory of my Dad, Our Bob.  Everyone that knew him, loved him.
