Story

We did it! It was a beautiful day, very warm despite the wind and we were even able to appreciate the countryside on the way round. It doesn't always help to know your anatomy so well to isolate exactly which bit hurts, but we can both still walk - and sit down. This may become an annual event for anyone feeling keen...

If you haven't yet donated, but would still like to please do. Hannah was waiting at the finish line to remind us why we were there!

If you have time please visit the Hannah 100 website to find out more about Hannah and other children we are raising money for. The aim is for Hannah and her school to have access to "Eyegaze" technology which will enable her to use a communication aid similar to Holly's. Some of you will have seen the impact this technology has had on Holly - she can access the curriculum, tell jokes, play music, send texts, even turn off the TV when someone else is watching it. "Eyegaze" is amazing and opens up this world of communication and interaction that has previously been inaccessible to children like Hannah. We don't know what our children are capable of until we give them opportunities.  Unfortunately "Eyegaze" is very expensive at around £11,000-£15,000 each.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
