Story
My challenge runs for 120 weeks starting on March 12th 2023 and finishing on June 22nd 2025. I am using the occasion of my 60th birthday to challenge myself, to help create a legacy for the next generation and to share the stories of all the incredible people who contributed to the book Legacy of Love including Jenny Seagrove, founding Trustee of Mane Chance
Week 1 I will run/walk 1km, Week 2 - 2km up to 60km then down again back to 1km. Each challenge will take place over the weekend in various locations and there will also be events and auctions. Check out www.legacyoflovebook.org to find out more about the book and email me at lynnechitty50@gmail.com if you would to get involved and join me on any of the walks
Mane Chance rescue horses who have suffered situations of abuse, neglect or abandonment and provide them with a safe home where they feel loved and cared for. Working alongside the horses, Mane Chance support children with additional needs, including those on the autistic spectrum, those who self-harm, have eating disorders and a range of physical and mental disabilities. "A wonderful place, there's a sort of 'other worldliness' about it, a real gem in the heart of Surrey."
