Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page to raise funds for St Michaels Hospice in honour of our wonderful dad Lynn Allars.

Our dad was known and loved by many different people for the selfless actions and help and support that would be given to anyone. Whether you knew dad as Greg or Lynn you were treated with the same humility, enthusiasm and engaging and thought invoking conversation whether you wanted it or not!

Dad was someone that would be there in any circumstance come rain or shine to help and support without any agenda. As a farmer, electrician, councillor and dad the approach was always the same, embrace life and smile and enjoy the journey.

As Greg became Lynn the journey that would take place was a difficult but ultimately successful one as dad could finally take some time to become the person that was always present but didn't want to impact on the life's of others. A selfless act in the journey of life.

By contributing any amount to the wonderful team at St Michaels Hospice you really will be making a significant difference. All of the staffing and volunteers worked tirelessly during the time that dad spent there in supporting the family as a whole and our thanks and support will always remain to them.
