Calling all Men and Boys including Ladies and Girls in Drag!
Take the 100² Challenge on Sunday 14th October 2012 and help raise £10,000 for Prostate Cancer UK http://prostatecanceruk.org
Fun training workshops begin 21st September 2012
Over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK every year, making it the most common cancer found in men. One man dies every hour from the disease.
We are looking to enlist 100 men and boys to raise £100 each (or more) by learning 3 fun dance routines. It’s a great opportunity to get fit, tame those two left feet and have some fun, and all for a worthwhile cause!
There will be seven workshops which offer a fun and suitable workout for any level of fitness, and as part of the 100² Challenge, you will be expected to attend at least two. Additionally, there will be a DVD of the three routines to get to grips with the dances, one of which is an Olympics Sport Dance. Whether you choose to register on your own, with members of your family, as part of a club, or simply with a group of friends or work colleagues, it’s guaranteed to be a BIG fun challenge.
The Man Event of the Year takes place on On Sunday 14 October at the Angel Centre, Tonbridge (2.30 – 4 pm) and will be videoed and uploaded on YouTube. All entries will also receive a 100² Challenge t-shirt and a certificate of completion. The workshops begin on September 21, but don’t delay and register now to guarantee your space in the workshops of your choice.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in something you’ve never done before, in fact as far as we know make history in something that has never been done before! You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain... and at the very worst you’ll have fun doing it. And for a worthy cause!
