I am doing this walk in memory of my Dad.  Unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and battled against it for 15 long months.  My Dad never complained, even when you could tell he wasn't feeling good, he would always say 'don't worry love, I'm ok'. He spent the final week of his life in Halton Haven Hospice, where the care he recieved was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. My Dad passed away on 13/02/2010 very peacefully in his sleep.

The money I raise will be much appreciated by Halton Haven Hospice as they are a charity run organisation. The work they do is fantastic and this small token will help to fund more items which will be of benefit to their patients.
