Malawi is the poorest country in the Commonwealth. Medic Malawi is an amazing charity, run by volunteers so no admin costs, which does incredible work by supporting a hospital, school, orphanage and children's feeding unit in a village in Malawi. I have been involved with this charity for over a year, since the La La choir, I sing with, did a fundraising concert, as one of our members lived in this village in Malawi for many years. I was trully inspired to help in some way when I heard more about the charity. I have been selling jewellery made in Malawi to help some local craftmen to help support their project which pays for childcare so some single women can work to support themselves.

I will be climbing Snowdon with my 11 year old daughter, Emilia, on 1st September.
