We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dad was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's around 4 years ago now.

Despite his illness and overcoming the difficulties resulting from dislocating both shoulders and the impact this disease has had on his ability to communicate, he has developed an amazing passion for music.

His unique character and positive outlook on life now shows itself on the dance floor and is at his happiest when singing along to his favourite songs.

That said the help and support needed to help both sufferers and carers is huge and simply can not be delivered without the generosity of volunteers and sponsors.

I have committed to a 100k night bike ride (at the time without even having a bike!) to try to raise money to help provide the much needed support and research to fight a disease that is now the UK's largest cause of death.

I would therefore be most grateful for your support.
