The Rowans Hospice is a charity run hospice, without fundraising it simply wouldn't be there.  Mike, my husband, was there for 18 days. In that time, the nurses knew exactly what he needed.  They gave him space in the 1st week, built up his trust then were able to care for him in his time of need. They were there for me and our girls when we needed them but never intruded. It was just a wonderful safe haven of peace and tranquility that Mike needed to end his days.  

We will continue to do fundraising for The Rowans in Mikes name in the knowledge that others can benefit from their caring help. Through their Meerkat service the children and I will also continue to be supported through our difficult times ahead.
