I lost my dad last year whilst he was suffering with Lewy Body dementia, although we'd lost who he was a few years beforehand. I'm trying to raise as much as I can so that we can find some sort of cure for this progressive, challenging and complex condition and also help the carers with what is an awful illness to deal with. 

This might be a fun way of raising money, experiencing the beauty of Ullswater lake surrounded by towering fells and the powerful Aira Force waterfall, but it'll be tough doing 26miles! Please help Jo and I raise as much money as possible. 

I'll also be doing another trek in September for the same cause but in Devon...watch this space.
