Story
We are running 13.1 miles in the infamous Great North Run half marathon in Newcastle on Sunday 10th September for Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Look out for us on tv!
Lyndsey, Martha and Jane are Rori's runners #runningforrori
This cause is very close to our hearts as we are, 'Running for Rori'. Our beautiful daughter Aurora was diagnosed with this disease at 3 weeks old, following the very important heel prick test that all new born babies are subject to. Our response to this news is to do something for our girl, the other babies, children and adults affected all over the UK. We want to not only raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Trust but also to raise awareness of this disease.
Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disease that mainly affects breathing and digestion. For some people it can have a huge impact on daily life and limit life expectancy. Cystic Fibrosis is not as widely known as other diseases such as cancer, therefore it does not get as much funding for services and research. The funds we raise will contribute to the amazing work this charity does to help those affected.
